Angel Felipe Gabriel,Driver Killed After Vehicle Overturns in Early-Morning Crash
A 38-year-old man lost his life in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning in Palm Beach County. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office reported the fatal incident occurred at the intersection of Haverhill Road and Cresthaven Boulevard.
Deputies responded to the scene at approximately 1:35 a.m. on February 15, 2026. Preliminary investigation indicates that a 2017 Honda Accord was traveling northbound on Haverhill Road at a high rate of speed. As the roadway curved left near the intersection, the driver failed to negotiate the turn.
The vehicle left the roadway, entered the grassy shoulder, and struck a concrete barrier wall. The impact caused the car to mount the barrier and overturn before coming to a final rest. The driver, identified as Angel Felipe Rojas Gabriel of Palm Springs, sustained fatal injuries. Authorities have confirmed next-of-kin notification.
The Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. No other vehicles were involved. The tragic event serves as a somber reminder of the critical importance of adhering to speed limits, especially on curved roadways during late-night hours.
