Coroner Identifies Three Family Members Killed in Weatherford House Fire
WEATHERFORD, Texas – The Parker County Medical Examiner has officially identified the three family members who perished in a devastating late-night house fire in January. The victims spanned three generations of the same family.
Killed in the blaze were 73-year-old Connie Harris Pidgeon; her daughter-in-law, 45-year-old Amy Renee Pidgeon; and her granddaughter, 18-year-old Malynna Renee Pidgeon. All resided at the home on Stoneridge Trail.

Weatherford Fire Rescue responded to the scene just after 12:30 a.m. on Jan. 31, finding the single-family residence heavily engulfed. With reports of people trapped, firefighters initiated an immediate search under extreme conditions. They located and rescued the three women, but all were pronounced deceased despite life-saving efforts.
A fourth occupant, identified by friends as Amy’s husband, Patrick, was outside upon arrival and was hospitalized. The couple’s son was unharmed.
The tragedy has deeply shaken the close-knit community. Malynna, a recent graduate, was a beloved employee at the Impact Athletic Training Center in Aledo. Friends have shared tributes online, stating, “God received three beautiful angels,” and noting the surviving family lost everything.
In response, a community benefit is scheduled for Feb. 28 at the Impact Gymnastics Training Center to support the Pidgeon family. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by local and state authorities.
